then what a joy it is for us to pray for them

If it is true that children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), and it is, then what a joy it is for us to pray for them! Sadly, in this world of hustle and bustle it is easy for us to overlook the "problems" that our children experience.
When I reflect back on my childhood though, there were plenty of times I was scared, angry or frustrated as I tried to figure out the world. I know that I am not alone in that experience. Childhood can be a great experience, but it can be a challenging one at times as well.
Having a praying parent(s)/guardian(s) is the kind of wind-in-your-sails that any kid will be thankful for, and though neither you nor they may always immediately experience the fruit of your prayerful "labor," we can trust our Heavenly Father is hearing our prayers.
