Fresh approach for the challenges of this generation

This is a clear, comprehensive approach to personal growth as a follower of Jesus Christ. Max has a wonderful way of giving a balanced overview of Christian living, avoiding the temptation to specialize in one dimension and neglect another. This book is a introduction to a fresh approach to disciple-making that will help you prepare for the unprecedented pressures of the twenty-first century.
Brave New Discipleship points in the right direction. But any serious reader will also want to investigate the full discipleship curriculum described at the end of the book.

A Discipleship Tool

Max Anders does a wonderful job of laying the foundation of christian growth. His 7 Marks of a believer gives a balanced understanding of what it means to grow in Christ and give purpose and meaning to your life. The book gives practical principals in living the life of a believer and how modern culture affects ones growth. He points out the challenges to discipleship today and gives a strategy to address them. Each chapter is filled with examples of the issues and steps to meet them. A short review and memory enhancer closes each chapter. I found the book to be very applicable for personal discipleship. I also have the system which I intend using in my mens ministry.

For years, I wanted to disciple others but I didn't know how to do it. This book gives you 7 Marks of a Complete Christian, and will help you know what to do in the area of discipleship. I highly recommend this book, and the Brave New Discipleship Kit from his website! I'm taking 6 guys through it right now.
